On Thursday 8th March 2018, 15 members of the Frome Independent Childminders met at Victoria Park to take part in a sponsored "Little Feet Walk" to raise awareness and money for Lisa Wells of "Lisa's Army". A cause very much close to our hearts as one of the childminders cared for Lisa and Dan's little girl Ava.https://www.lisasarmy.co.uk/
The morning was a great success, the children walked 10 laps of the park with lots of encouragement and buggy hopping!
It was such a lovely day, finishing with lunch in the sunshine and surprisingly the children all had enough energy to have a run around to.
With the support of local business Mike's Sandwich Shop refreshments alone raised £38.00!
Thank you to all those that helped make it a fantastic event, a special thanks to group member Caron Stacey for organising the walk and fundraising.
